Situated at the foothills of the Black Mountains, near Hay-on-Wye, Primrose Organic & Sacred Earth Centre seeks to be a place of calm and beauty, where visitors can find inspiration to live more harmoniously within their immediate environment, their local communities and the natural world.
A thriving organic fruit and vegetable business, it is also a wonderful example of how permaculture can assist nature in providing an abundance of wonderfully nutritious and luscious food. It hosts a large, mature Forest Garden in which can be found almost a hundred varieties of fruit and nut trees.
Over the last few years the Farm has evolved into a rural sanctuary; sacred spaces have been created to help us connect more deeply with our inner spirituality* and outer journeys and to help us find peace in our daily lives. Seasonal celebrations are held to encourage a sense of inner renewal and expansion and to help nourish our souls through connection with the earth and the rhythms of nature.
There are regular opportunities in terms of Work, Volunteering, Seasonal Celebrations and Sound Healing and new opportunities arising in terms of Healing Retreats and Self-Catering Facilities.
