Paul has led voice and sound healing workshops for 11 years and incorporates vocal sound techniques from many traditions together with Simon Heather's sound healing process for individuals.  He uses improvisation, movement, listening, sounding and ceremony to help people connect with the healing power of nature.  Workshops are performed in the sanctuary of the Sound Peace Chamber in the beautiful, natural setting of Primrose Centre in which have been created gardens for peace, the elements and the four seasons.  

Organic & Sustainable Food Production Course

This course is run by Primrose Earth Awareness Trust (PEAT) - education charity adjacent to Primrose Organic & Sacred Earth Centre. Finding Your Voice

Our voice is our greatest gift for healing ourselves and for healing other people. For many of us our voice becomes blocked because of painful experiences in childhood. If we are told at school that we can't sing we become self-conscious about our voice and loose our self-confidence when singing.

Listening

If our parents continually shout at us when we are children we may block out the sound frequencies in their voices. When certain frequencies become blocked in our hearing this effects our voice and our ability to sing in tune.

This also effects the functioning of our body. In the workshop you will learn how to reawaken your hearing and reconnect with your true voice.

The voice is often called 'the muscle of the soul'. When we find our voice again we reconnect with our joy, power and beauty.

Sounding

Toning long vowel sounds has a healing effect on the body and mind. Toning with other people is simple and fun to do. Learn how to use sound for healing blocked emotions.

Breath

Learn how to breathe correctly for toning and overtoning.

Harmonics

Experience the amazing world of harmonics and overtones. Learn how to create vocal harmonics. Creating vocal harmonics will take you into sates of deep peace and inner stillness.
Chant

Have fun learning and singing some simple sacred chants from around the world.

Chakras

Balance your chakras with a sound healing meditation.

Sound Healing Session

Experience a sound healing session and a sound bath where everyone sends healing sound to one person.

Seasonal Sounds Day: 'SPRING'  SUNDAY 20th APRIL 2008

  • A Day for Sound Exploration with Spring's Rising Energies in the sacred space of the Sound Chamber and the beautiful gardens.

  • An opportunity to use ‘Sound’ to connect with our inspiration and to explore the potential of Spring’s rising energy.

  • An exploration of our relationship with ‘Air’, the Celtic element for Spring

Weekend Workshop: 9th-11th MAY 2008 'SOUND HEALING TRAINING PART II'

Weekend Workshop: 11th-13th JULY 2008:  ‘SOUND HEALING WITH NATURE’  experience sound healing and the healing sense of belonging in nature   

Cost: £150 including food & accommodation or £130 with meals only.

  • The weekend will integrate the healing power of nature into our healing voice work.  We will work with the sounding traditions of people that lived close to nature and used sound to deepen their connection with their environment. Primrose Centre contains many beautiful gardens and natural spaces. The course will be held in the Sound Peace Chamber and in some outside spaces such as the Peace Garden with its 4 element gardens and beside a mountain stream in the nearby woods.  We will explore some of the deeper healing potential of nature and use sound to connect with this.  

  • We will gain an understanding of the qualities of the elements - fire, water, earth and air - and explore our relationships to them and the way they influence our lives.

  • We will demonstrate the ways that sound can be used to heal ourselves and others and the healing power of sound in nature.  Nature can provide a very supportive environment in which to release pain and disharmony through sound.  We will work with this potential on an individual and group level.

Seasonal Sounds Day: 'AUTUMN'  SUNDAY 12th OCTOBER 2008: 

10am-5pm Cost: £35; bring lunch to share

A day of 'Healing Sounds' and 'Exploring our Relationship with the Energy of Autumn'; an opportunity to use 'Sound' to reflect on our personal achievements and ground our energies in preparation for the winter ahead; to explore our relationship with 'Water', the Celtic element for Autumn
